I like to live in, work in, and design orderly environments, embracing concepts like "Less is More," "Form Follows Function," and "Keep It Simple Stupid." Other interests include woodworking, framing & matting, filing & organization, reverse engineering, and designing/drawing by numbers & angles.
Education & Career
At North Carolina State University I studied graphic communications, developing skills from a range of fields comprised of fundamentals of architecture & engineering, graphic design, wood & metal fabrication, 3-D modeling, video production, & photography.
In my career I have worked as a drafter and graphic specialist creating CAD plans, signage, business cards, and event brochures. I have also spent many years in the restaurant industry as a server and bartender, gaining experience with sales, time management, mult-tasking, and creating personal relationships.
ACC Tracker
Since 2012 I have maintined a website documenting the football uniforms of the teams/schools of the Atlantic Coast Conference, covering
each helmet, jersey, pants, & patches worn in each game. Organized by team and week, with photo references and cited credit.
Side Projects
I maintain a spreadsheet documenting many aspects of my life including expense, paychecks, banking and credit balances, and exercise history.
On ebay I have maintained a steady presence since 2017, packaging every item with previously used materials and backed by a spreadsheet detailing all expenses and inventory.
Summer 2020
While away from the restaurant due to the pandmic, I was fortunate to be able to spend some time at my parents house. There I had access to a wood shop where I built a bed, desk shelf, media cabinets, and stereo boxes. I also had time to finish a handful of poster framing projects, scan photo prints, research & expand the ACC Tracker website, and read books. |
